Funny Forms Final

The goal of this studio is to explore and develop a formal project which neither quits on looks, nor overcompensates for its brand insecurity through 'bodybuilding." The form may not be immediately recognizable as anything, in fact, it may even deny initial pleasure; neither spectacular nor regular, it may even assume a visual power much more pleasurable, and perhaps even more perplexing than the most gymnastic of architectural achievements.
-Paul Preissner (studio brief paraphrased)

often, architecture takes itself way too seriously or overcompensates to the opposite extreme resulting in formal one-liners. this project attempt to find a formal language that can be funny but without jokes. it is the Steven Wright of architecture, you will either get it or you wont.
